Mixture - "The Original"

Mixture was not just the very first aromatic tobacco to come on the market, it was also the first in a range of three variants which, in addition to the original Mixture, includes Mixture Modern and Mixture Aromatic.

Mixture consists of more than 35 different tobaccos from all the corners of the globe, each with its own special qualities. Only by mixing them in just the right proportions can the distinctive taste and aroma that marks a good pipe of Mixture be achieved.

Mixture Modern - with the mild taste

A natural development of the original Mixture was a milder variant - Mixture Modern. Mac Baren wanted a pipe tobacco with the same unique taste and aroma as Mixture, but with a slightly milder taste.

The result was Mixture Modern, which appeals particularly to new pipe smokers and those who prefer a milder tobacco.

Mixture Aromatic - mild and aromatic

Where Mixture Modern is at the mild end of the taste spectrum, Mixture Aromatic lies between Mixture and Mixture Modern.

Compared to Mixture Modern, Mixture Aromatic is a touch less sweet, but distinguishes itself with a highly characteristic taste and fragrant aroma, while still retaining the special Mixture flavour.
